bag
Sewn from the Amy Butler pattern "In Town Bags." The exterior is a floral duckcloth, which was interfaced (even though the pattern doesn't call for it). Used a vintage button for closure, and instead of a ribbon loop, I sewed a fabric loop.

What beautiful fabric - lovely bag.
I also interface all my fabric when I make this bag - otherwise, it's way too floppy. I also interface and double layer my pockets - just for sturdiness. Did you know that you duck cloth looks a lot like some of Amy Butler's new fabric? Forest, I think, or maybe Belle. I can't remember. It's very pretty. Nice job.
this bag is fantastic. I love the fabric you made it with, too.(and very, very cool doorknob--reminds me of the house i grew up in)
Now THAT is a hot bag. Great, great fabric. I bought a bag (I know, for shame) from a local shop with very similar fabric. (www.janine-marie.com) Super cute!
Adorable. I want it!
